I’m excited to be FINALLY posting this one… For whatever reason, there have been some delays with Geek Gear and their boxes for the last month. Yesterday I received the regular subscription box and this morning I got the March Pinz box (I’m still waiting for the February one). Today, I’ll be showing you what I got in the March World of Wizardry box so let’s get started.
Ron’s Broken Wand
I’m so excited to about this want, I think it’s genius! The box looked like a package and on the tag, it said ‘To Ron, Tried fixing your wand hope it works ok. Love Mum x’. I just think it’s so sweet! I wasn’t too happy that we got another of Ron’s wand because that’s the one we got the last time there was a wand in the box but it’s just such a clever idea I don’t even care now!
Weasley Multi Colour Pen
When I was a kid I used to love these pens with all the different colours… who am I kidding? I still love them now! It’s even better now though because it’s a Weasley pen!
Recipes and Cutters
I adore getting these recipes, one day I’ll just have to have a cooking day and try them all! This month we got butterscotch fudge, fever fudge and butter cookies complete with snitch, Hedwig and sorting hat cutters!
I am loving these badges we keep getting, last month we had the gorgeous head boy and head girl pins and now these. I think they’re so cute and they will absolutely be joining my ever-growing collection on my corkboard display!
Wax Stamp Set
Okay, so I’ve always wanted one of these but now that I’ve got one I’ll probably be too scared to use it because I don’t want to ruin it! It’s one of those fancy letter seals that are on letters from Hogwarts/The Queen (I know who I would rather have a letter from!). In this one, it’s the house crest so, on mine, there’s a badger.
House Tie Socks
I think that these socks are really cute and unusual. You get loads of Harry Potter socks in Primark these days but I’ve never seen ones like this before!
I mention it every month but I’m not really a fan of these t-shirts. They’re almost always dark and I always wear bright colours. I do quite like this design though because I love Lupin.
I love this print so much, it’s absolutely one of my favourites! I love the colours and I just think it’s so gorgeous!
So, this is technically my first pinz box (it should have been the February one but like I said, I haven’t received it yet but I have also bought loads of pinz individually from previous boxes) and I’m really happy with it! I love the Harry and Dobby one, I’ve already got one with Harry and Hedwig but I love Dobby so much! I think my least favourite one is the Newt one because I’m not that big a fan of Fantastic Beasts (I just don’t get it at all). The other thing I don’t like about the Newt pin is the gold outline. Each pin comes in three designs, regular, silver and gold and obviously, I got the gold version. I just think that the gold makes his face look strange like you can’t really see it very well.
I hope you enjoyed this unboxing of my March World of Wizardry box! If/when I get the February pinz box, I’ll probably just include it in the April boxes post. If you get these boxes (or even if you don’t) I’d love to know what your favourite item was! I think for me it’s a tie between Ron’s wand, the house pins and the Fawkes print!
