Review: Lush Secret Arts Jelly Bomb

Today I’m going to be reviewing the new Lush Secret Arts jelly bomb. I love bath bombs and when I saw this jelly bomb I had to give it a go! Before I get started I want to just say that this post is NOT sponsored. I wanted to try the bath bomb and I decided to write about it.

First Impressions

I ordered the bath bomb on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday so it arrived quicker than I expected which I was happy about. As soon as I opened the box I could smell the bath bomb and I couldn’t put my finger on what it smelled like. After asking my mam and brother, they came to the conclusion that it was cherry coke. It did smell quite nice but it did get a little sickly after a while.

Using The Product

On Thursday I opened it back up and ran myself a bath. When I put the bath bomb in, my bath quickly turned black, as you’d expect but I could also see pink coming out of it. I was expecting the next layer to be pink but the bath just kept getting more and more black.

When the bath bomb was almost gone, the top of the water had this jelly-ish texture to it. It was all over me and didn’t feel great to start with. I really started thinking that I would need to shower after I got out of the bath to get the jelly off me.

I took these videos of what the bath bomb did when it went in the water and the 2nd video shows the jelly I was talking about. After a while, the jelly disappeared and there was just black water left but when I looked closely there was sort of a shimmery glitter in the water which looked so cool!

From these two videos, you can see the glitter that was in the water and how the jelly looked on my skin (it was super weird😂)

Overall, I really liked the Lush Secret Arts Jelly Bomb! However, I’m not sure if I would buy it again because it did leave black stains in my bath. I tried scrubbing them off when I let the water out and again the next morning and I still couldn’t get rid of the marks. But, saying that, it was quite fun having jelly in the bath! Maybe I’ll try a lighter colour jelly bomb next time! I would definitely recommend this product if you don’t mind having a few stains in your bath!
