Friends Fest

On Friday I went to Friends Fest in Cardiff with my friend Abigail (she also has a blog which you can read here). It was my first time in Friends Fest and I’ve wanted to go since I found out about it a year or two ago. Until now, it’s just been in London but this year it’s touring! Today I’m going to tell you a bit about it.
The Set Tour
When we arrived we went straight to queue for the set tour which you had to have a separate ticket for although it was part of the price of the entry ticket (which was £26). The set tour was amazing, it was like I had just stepped into the TV. Before you get to the sets there’s a small kind of museum which has props and costumes for you to look at. Here are some of my favourites:
Ross’s leather pants (you can also see the holiday armadillo costume in the background)

Pat the dog, Phoebe’s Smelly Cat guitar and the smelly cat cat litter

Monica and Chandler’s vows

Rachel’s letter to Ross (18 pages, FRONT AND BACK)
From the museum, you go into Joey and Chandler’s apartment, they had all the iconic props like the chairs, the canoe and Hugsy.

From Joey and Chandler’s, the next stop is the hallway between the apartments
The final stop on the set tour was Rachel and Monica’s apartment, it’s absolutely my favourite apartment in any TV show I’ve seen!

Photo Booths
After the set tour, we headed to Ross and Rachel’s Vegas wedding chapel and back to 1988 for prom.

Central Perk

Central Perk was our next stop and it looked just like the iconic coffee house!

The Opening Credits

Finally, we had our picture taken in front of the iconic fountain from the opening credits.

Before heading home we stopped for a Mockolate milkshake and went to the shop where they had loads of Friends related merchandise like hoodies, magnets keyrings, posters etc. I got a mockolate bar (which was so nice) and a framed poster of all the famous quotes like pivot and we were on a break. If you’re a fan of Friends, I definitely recommend going to Friends Fest if you can! It’s the perfect place to see all your favourite things from your favourite show.
