Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! A little while ago I saw the Lost In A Book Tag over on Embumble’s blog and I really enjoyed it and thought it was a bit of fun and when I told Em, she tagged me to do it so here it goes!
1. Do you have a specific place at home to read in?
I usually read in the bath but if there’s nobody in my house I’ll read in the conservatory or the living room.
2. Where do you like to read?
In the bath.
3. Do you use a bookmark or piece of paper?
Please don’t judge me but I usually just turn the page down! I did recently get a bookmark though which I love. Also, if the book I’m reading is a hardcover with one of those sleeve things that tucks in the front and back covers I’ll just take it off one of the covers and put it on the page I’m reading (if that makes any sense, I don’t know if I explained it right!).
4. Can you just stop reading or do you have to get to the end of the chapter?
It’s super annoying, especially in long chapters but I have to get to the end! The only way I wouldn’t stop at the end of a chapter is if there’s a little * on one of the pages.
5. Do you eat or drink whilst reading?
Not really, I mean, I’ll have a drink if I’m thirsty but I would usually stop to eat. But as I mentioned, I read in the bath so I don’t take food with me…
6. E-reader or real book?
I don’t really mind! I do like a book but I can read on my tablet too. I’m going to start doing that more because I saw a book I wanted on Amazon and it was £10 (ish) for a hard copy and £1.99 for a Kindle copy so I downloaded the app and I’ll be using that when I get around to reading that book.
7. Music or television whilst reading?
Nope. I need to concentrate!
8. One book at a time or several?
One, like I said, I need to concentrate and if I have more than one book on the go I’ll get confused!
9. Read at home or everywhere?
I prefer to read at home but I have read on the train in the past and I could probably read in a coffee shop or something.

10. Reading aloud or silently?
Silently. However, a few weeks ago I was re-reading one of the Harry Potter books and I started reading aloud in a weird accent and it was so hard to stop!
11. Fiction or non-fiction?
It depends. I love fiction like Harry Potter and The Hunger Games but I do like an autobiography too, I’ve read quite a few of them! I’ve just finished Sarah Millican’s and now I’m starting Andrew Lloyd Webber’s.
12. Do you read ahead or skip pages?
Never! My mam recently borrowed a book I’d already read and she was about halfway through and she said ‘I know she doesn’t die because I’ve read the end’ I just don’t understand it when people do things like that! Once, I was in the cinema and my friend googled the film to know the ending like why? You’ll know in an hour!
13. Break the spine or keep the book like new?
I don’t really do anything intentionally but my Harry Potter books have been read so many times there are lines down all of the spines.
14. Do you write in books?
Only in my textbooks when I was in uni.
15. What is your favourite book?
At the moment? Sarah Millican – How To Be Champion. Even if you don’t like her, I really recommend reading it because there are some incredible messages in there!
16. Do you buy books new or second-hand?
I usually buy new because I like being the first person to read a book but if I ever saw a second-hand book I wanted I would buy it. It doesn’t really bother me.
I hope you enjoyed the lost in a book tag! Be sure to check out Em’s post, her answers are so good!
