Hey guys! Welcome back to my blog! I can’t believe it’s the last day of April, this year is literally flying by so fast! April was the month of firsts for me, it was my first month with my bullet journal and the first month I set goals for myself. Today, I’ll be sharing with you how I did with my April bullet journal and goals so let’s get started.
My Bullet Journal
Before I talk about how April has gone, I wanted to show you these super cute little markers. I love them so much and have put one on the page I fill out daily, one on a weekly page and the last one ready on May so that I can access them all super easily. There are some different sets you can get and there is also loads of washi tape (I got two of those too) and I got them from CallabyCrafts on Etsy.
Filling out some of my bullet journal this month has been a bit tricky because I was ill for about a week and a half in the middle of the month so I didn’t do much which made the highlights/gratitudes page difficult because I didn’t have a highlight as I was in bed all day and it’s not easy to find something to be grateful for when you’re ill.
My Year In Pixels
This page started with a different colour depending on the smiley face but about halfway through the month I realised it was difficult to judge my mood based on a smiley face so I changed it to different moods to make it easier and I’ve been liking this way a lot better. I do wish that I had made pink the colour for normal because it’s my favourite colour and normal is my usual mood!
My Habit Tracker
I definitely made this tracker too big, I have decided to make my May tracker a lot smaller because most of these are so unnecessary!
As I mentioned, I found this page quite difficult as you can see, I was grateful for throat sweets and my blanket on two of the days! I am glad that I’ve got this to look back on though!
Facebook Group Tracker
As you may know, I recently took over a Facebook group and I’ve been trying to figure out which threads to have throughout the week so I’ve been tracking how many people have been participating. I don’t really like this page, it’s super messy because I rushed it but my May one is a lot better!
So, as you can see, I managed to achieve all of my goals this month which I’m super proud of! Side note: I would 100% recommend reading Sarah Millican’s How To Be Champion, even if you’re not a fan! It’s such an incredible book filled with amazing quotes. I actually dedicated 2 pages of my bullet journal to the quotes so that I can find them easily in one place.
Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing my goals for May along with bullet journal layout and I’m really excited because I love it so much so be sure to check back for that! If you enjoyed this post, please share it using the buttons below!
Thanks for reading, Em xo
